Using Scratch to create a Ping Pong Game

This post is written by Jessica, who worked with Aliyha today.

Today we have been making games on Scratch. We had to learn to use scripts to program the game.  The aim of the game is to make sure you dont let the ball hit the blue and you have to hit the ball with the paddle.

  1. Hi this is Zoe and Jess from Taupaki school. Cool game! How long did it take you to program it? You could maybe add levels so it gets harder and harder.

  2. Nice one! Once, I've tried to make a pong game, and I failed, because I couldn't make the ball bounce on the paddle.

  4. What a neat idea girls. This game reminds me of a game I used to play when I was your age called Arkanoid.

  8. Hi this is Jessica from Taupaki School.I really like your game it is quite addictive, next time if you make a game similar to this one I think you should make a score board that counts how many times the ball hits the platform.
